- SCRIPTURES: We believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God and, as originally written, was verbally inspired, the product of Spirit-controlled men, and, therefore, is inerrant truth. We believe that it is the true center of Christian union and the only infallible rule for all human conduct, creeds and opinions. 1 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:19-21.
- DIVINE TRINITY: We believe there is only one living and true God, infinite in every excellence. In the unity of the Godhead there are three personal distinctions: Father, Son and Holy Spirit- one in substance and equally divine. Exodus 20:2-3; Isaiah 45:22; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Genesis 1:26; John 1:1-3.
- GOD THE FATHER: We believe God the Father is the only true God, is the creator of the universe, the ultimate judge, who sent his only Son to save us from our sins. Exodus 3:14; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Isaiah 44:6; Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3; 3:16, Col. 1:16-17; Romans 5:8.
- JESUS CHRIST: We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is both true God and perfect man, a unique supernatural manifestation of God in the flesh. He was born of the Virgin Mary, having been miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit. Who was crucified and buried as a penalty for our sins, and was raised bodily from the dead on the third day. He is the only Savior of mankind. He is the proper object of our worship. He intercedes for believers. 1 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 1:18-20; Luke 1:35; John 14:6; Acts 4:10-12; Revelation 5:11-13; Phil 2:5-11; Romans 3:23-25, 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Hebrews 4:14-16, 7:25; 1 Timothy 2:15.
- HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person. Who convicts men of sin, righteousness and judgment, bears witness to the truth and is the agent of new birth. He empowers, guides, helps, sanctifies, seals, teaches and witnesses to the believer, indwelling every true child of God. John 14:16-17; John 16:12-15; Romans 8:14-16, 26-27.
- THE DEVIL OR SATAN: We believe in the distinct personality of Satan; he is the ruler of this age, the god of this world, the author and prince of all the powers of darkness and sin, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire. Matthew 4:1-11; Matthew 25:41; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10.
- CREATION: We believe that God created the heavens and earth, including all life “each after its own kind,” by direct act, not by the process of evolution. Genesis 1 & 2; Psalm 33:6-9; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17.
- THE FALL OF MAN: We believe that man in the person of the First Adam was created in innocence but chose to disobey God and thus fell into sin. Therefore sin was passed down throughout the entire human race so that now all mankind is born with a sin nature and so are without excuse before Holy God. Genesis 3; Romans 5:10-19; Ephesians 2:1-3.
- THE ATONEMENT: We believe that the only escape from the condemnation of sin is through the atoning work of Jesus Christ when He voluntarily took upon Himself a human body, being made in the likeness of man yet without sin; by His suffering, death and resurrection He made full satisfaction to the justice of God for the sin of man. The blessings of this salvation are given on the grounds of grace to all who believe and confess. Romans 8:3; Philippians 2:6-8; John 3:1-19; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:30-33; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 3:23-25.
- SALVATION: We believe that faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, was buried, rose again and ascended to the right hand of the Father, is the only premise for salvation. This faith, which is a free gift of God and not something we can earn and is understood through the hearing of the Word of God. By new birth, one who is dead in trespasses and sin is granted eternal life, made righteous, justified and becomes a partaker of the Divine nature, eternally secured to the praise of God. Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 1:7, Revelation 1:5, Romans 10:17, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 1:18-25; Romans 3:21-26; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 2 Peter 1:4.
- THE CHURCH: We believe that every born-again believer is adopted into the body of Christ, and that this body is Biblically identified as “the Church.” We believe that a local church is a congregation of immersed believers associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, and exercising the gifts, rights and privileges invested in it by His word. We believe that its officers are pastors, deacons and trustees. We believe that it has the absolute right of self-government directed by the Holy Spirit; it is answerable only to Christ; and that in all matters of membership, policy, government, discipline and benevolences the will of the local church is final. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 3:3-7; Colossians 1 :24; Acts 20:28-32; Ephesians 4:10-11; Philippians 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; 1 Peter 5:1-5; Acts 2:4142; 1 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:23-24 and Colossians 1:18.
- CHURCH ORDINANCES: We believe that there are two church ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion).
- MODE OF BAPTISM: The pastor, or in his absence a deacon or a man approved by the deacons, shall administer baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is a beautiful symbol of our faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior our life of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. Baptism is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership. Matthew 28:19.
- THE LORD’S SUPPER (COMMUNION): This shall be served to the congregation by the pastor or a person designated by the deacons. Luke 22:19-20.
- THE LORD’S RETURN: We believe in the bodily, personal, pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ for his church in the air. We believe that at his second coming He will return to judge the nations and to set up His kingdom on earth. Matthew 25:31-46; John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16; Revelation 19:11-21.
- RESURRECTION: We believe in the resurrection of the bodies of the dead; believers who sleep in Jesus will be raised at the Coming of Christ for His Church and caught up with transformed, living saints to meet the Lord in the air, and the wicked dead will be raised at the close of the Millenial Kingdom and stand, in their bodies, at the Great White Throne of judgment to receive their final sentence to the lake of fire. John 5:2130; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 7:9-17 and Revelation 20:11-15.
- SEPARATION: We believe a Christian should live a spirit-led life. While we believe a Christian should live a separated life, he should be fully engaged in the world around him. As a body of such Christians we will separate ourselves from all religious apostasy. We should not involve ourselves with any group which adds to or subtracts from the Word of God. Romans 12:2; Titus 2:12; Acts 20:27; Romans 16:17; Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and Revelation 22:18-19.
- CONDUCT: We believe a Christian should avoid such deeds of sinful nature. Scripture spells out the root of such things, they are: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, and orgies. A Christian should strive to avoid deeds, sinful or otherwise, that could cause his brother to stumble, and focus on being led by the Spirit in all things. Galatians 5:19-26; Romans 14:13, 21; 1 Corinthians 6:12, 19-20; Proverbs 20:1 and 1 Peter 2:1.
- SPIRITUAL GIFTS: We believe God imparts different gifts to the members of the body of Christ. These gifts are given for the edifying of the body of Christ, to convince the lost of Truth, and for the glory of Jesus Christ and not the individual. 1 Corinthians 12:810; Romans 12:6-21.
- MARRIAGE AND HUMAN SEXUALITY: We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained of God between a man and a woman. We believe intermarriages between the saved and the unsaved are unbiblical. We believe divorce is hated by God and is unscriptural except in cases of adultery. We must remember that divorce was only allowed because of the hardness of men’s hearts and that from the beginning it was not so. Remarriage after divorce is unbiblical unless the previously married partner or partners are physically dead. Genesis 2:18-25; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Malachi 2:16, Matthew 5:32; Matthew 19:8,9; Mark 10:2-9; Romans 7:1-4; I Corinthians 7:10-13, 27; 39. Further, we believe that God created human beings in two distinct genders: male and female. We believe any attempts to alter or change one’s gender are prohibited and sinful. Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1;6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4.
